monitoring for hp x9000 filesystem

hi,

 

can i ha.ve some filesystem monitoring tool like inotify which will log filesystem change events in database for HP X9000 filesystem? It should be opensource and configurable. Filesystem size is large i.e.more than 20 TB for rhel 5.2

x9000 does have configurable alerts that can create snmp traps or email.
