Re: Get notified when an interface become administravetly down

Hello Kareem ,

Yes you can get notified for disable any interface , there is Event Management in NNM called

InterfaceDisabled .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.17.19.2.0.18

you need to enable it

All the best .

Re: Get notified when an interface become administravetly down

Hello Kareem ,

Good To hear that ,

For your questions , you can not , as if you modified the Alarm Message , the Event Will not be Out-of-the-Box from the Internal NNM , thus It will ask to change the Author to Customer ,

All the best .

Re: Get notified when an interface become administravetly down

Thanks Mostafa,

Well after enabling the event i.e. right click --> enable event, the author changed to be customer instead of Network Node Manager, hence, i was able to modify the message.

Thanks again

Kareem
