NNMi 9.10 - Dump inventory with device group membership

Hi,

I need to run off a report listing all nodes in NNMi along with their associated groups. Ultimately I then need to be able to browse through the data to examine the groups and which nodes are in them.

Unforetunately we have a large number of groups defined so the process of selecting each group in the GUI and then exporting the list won't really work. What I really need, either from the GUI, CLI or the Database is a list in the format of <node>, <group a>, <group b>, <group c> etc or something similar...

Can anyone assist with this please?

Andy

Re: NNMi 9.10 - Dump inventory with device group membership

Hello

The simplest solution is to write a script which does following,

1.  Get all nodegroups using the command "nnmnodegroup.ovpl -list". This will list all Nodegroups defined in database

2.  Then for each node group run the command "nnmnodegroup.ovpl -printNodes NodeGroupName -hostName". This will

list all nodes that is defined in the node group

Thanks
