The system is NNMi 9.11 ( patch 3 ) + iSPI Performance for Metrics installed on the same machine with default DB ( Sybase) .

Any solution to fix it ?

Best Regards,

Daniel

Re: iSPI Pferormance for Metrics - dbsize.ovpl FAILED

I had that issue, took a support case to get it fixed as we had to go into the database and manually add the new datafiles.

Have a nice day :)

Re: iSPI Pferormance for Metrics - dbsize.ovpl FAILED

Hi,

helped by the HP support seams that was need to resize the DB file. For this it necesary to use dbsize.ovpl.

Help :

Usage: dbsize.ovpl [-h] [-q] [-c <ConnString>] [-x] [-t nn] [-d name] [-f name [
-r size] [-a size] [-p path] ]
        -h      Usage
-q      Display DBspace Size & Usage
-x      Automatically extend size of any DBSpace that is over 70 used
-c cs   Specific database connection String - default is "DSN=PerfSPIDSN
"
        -t nn   Specify auto-extend usage threshold% - default is 70
-d name Double the allocated space of identified dbspace, up to reserve
limit / avail disk
-f name Increase reserve limit by adding a new DB File to the specified
DBSPACE
-r size(M|G)    Specify reserve size of new DB File - default 2GB
-a size(M|G)    Specify allocation size of new DB File - default 50GB
-p path Specify directory for new DB File - default PRSPI_DATABASE folder

Example :

dbsize.ovpl -f USER_MAIN -r 10G

- the file will be resized by 10 G more.
