Auto Port Aggregation Problem or IP routing problem?
i configured two ports by using auto port aggregation as below.
on lan902 there are two ports if one port is shut down the other port will automatically be activated. One port is connected directly to IP address (10.210.95.36) and the other port is connected directly to IP address (10.210.95.37). Now when i shut down IP address (10.210.95.36) than also we need to ping to IP address (10.210.95.37/38) i can't that dual ports interface.
this on c7000 enclosure and HP VC Flex-10 Enet Module
Please support and provide your comments
Thanks

Re: Auto Port Aggregation Problem or IP routing problem?
not possible to be sure based on the information given. APA will not work on a Cisco switch without configuration on the Cisco side. Has this been done?

Re: Auto Port Aggregation Problem or IP routing problem?
i configured lan901 with this ip 10.14.170.71 and default gateway 10.14.170.1.
and lan902 with this ip address 10.14.95.33 and default gateway 10.14.95.1.
now the ip address 10.14.170.71 is connected directly to IP address (10.210.95.36) and second IP connected directly to IP address (10.210.95.37).
My questions is, when I shut down IP address (10.210.95.36) ho I can ping to 10.210.95.37 ip address Through the both ip addresses ( 10.14.170.71 and 10.14.95.33 ) how i can do it that.
Thanks

Re: Auto Port Aggregation Problem or IP routing problem?
After struggling for a while I was told by HP support that APA is incompatible with VC.
The way that VC expects you to get a bigger pipe is to have 10GB LAN connections that can be carved up with the Flex10 to whatever size you need rather than bonding 1GB connections to the size you need.
I find this very limiting to be frank but it is what it is.
Since we converted last summer I haven't revisited the issue so I can't say if anything has changed since then.
