FAILS TO ADD SUB-NEXT MASK
When trying to add sub-net mask on lan0 its giving error
MASK: bad value
im issuing command
ifconfig lan0 203.176.117.113 mask 255.255.255.128
how to add mask forcefully ?

The correct option is 'netmask'.
ifconfig lan0 203.176.117.113 netmask 255.255.255.128
