Re: NFS error
Try editing /etc/mnttab and remove the nfs entry from the client.

mnttab(4) is a read only file that is updated directly by the kernel and says:
It should never be manually edited,
Did you mean fstab(4)?

Re: NFS error: NFS server ... not responding
We can edit /etc/mnttab in HP-UX 11iv1 and V2 but not in V3.
By removing an stale entry from mnttab file we can get rid of them

mnttab(4) says the same thing:
... It should never be manually edited, ...

Re: NFS error: NFS server ... not responding
Hello Dennis sir,
What should i suppose to do now to resolve this issue.
Have you tried umount -f?
Dose it unmount all the shared file system ...or is there any thing specifically needs to be done.
Request you to please suggest me steps for the same.
Thanks & have a great day ahead,
With regards,
Vishal

You need to learn how to use the manpages. That and my hint about using umount -f should have given you enough info.
mount_nfs(1M) says:
/sbin/fs/nfs/umount [-df] {resource | mount_point}
umount -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt
