Replacing "via configuration" one IP address for another one.

Hi all,

My problem is the following. I have to create a QA server for my application. On my application there are many DCLs which use IP addresses to connect to different production servers. I cannot change those DCLs so I have to use those IPs, but somehow I should make the system to deceipe the DCL. What I mean is, when some DCL tries to connect to i.e. 123.123.123.1 the OS must translate this "connection" to 234.234.234.1 which is my local IP where I will have any debugging SW waiting for connections.

We have an Alpha server DS10 running OpenVMS 8.3. DecNet and Network Type  DNA IV.

Is there any way to do this "redirection" or it is simply impossible?

I hope I have explained the problem well enought... what I am afraid I didn't.

Thanks in advance.
