iLO 4 showing Link Down - Ubuntu server
I've read the other forum posts concerning this issue, but the solutions have all been for Windows. iLO keeps sending errors (same as our monitoring system) about link down on two 1G ports. We are not using these and have never used them.
What I've done so far has been to do ip link set dev em3 down (and em4) but this doesn't have any effect. Doing ifdown kicks back that interface isn't configured. What I'd like to do is just delete this interface... or permanently disable these interfaces. I've seen how to do this with ip link delete for vlan interfaces, but have so far been unable to find out how to do this for a physical interface.
Thank you in advance!
