netstat -win 3 entries for lan1?
Hi
When carrying out the netstat -win command I have noticed that there are 3 entries for lan1 which are: lan1, lan1:801 and a lan1:802. I have noticed on the other servers a lan7:801 and lan7 entries the same for other servers but may be different lan numbers, can you explain why lan1 in this instance has got lan1, lan:801 and what seems an extra entry of lan1:802?

Re: netstat -win 3 entries for lan1?
Shalom,
Your system is configured for virtual address.
This lets you add a second IP address to a single LAN card.
You will probably find this configuration in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf if you want to look at it.
