Quick Start Guide for the HP Software Online Community

[ Edited ]

Hi All,

We have created a Quick Start Guide, to help you get acquainted with the HP Software Online Community. Feel free to download it and use it. Feedback is always welcome as we want to make sure we have addressed aspects which will address any questions you have in using the community.

I have replaced the version of the Quick Start Guide with a new version which reflects the new layout in the community.

Greetings,

Bill

Re: Quick Start Guide for the HP Software Online Community

I was having my CAXXXXXX ID registered in old ITRC forum. now when i log into it redirects me to new page and there i have to login with my HP Passport.

Now when i login with HP Passport i dont see any information from the old ITRC. like solution i provided, questions i posted, points which i earned and so on.

Though i have used the tool migrate ITRC account provided on Software solution page but it does not show me any informations.

Did i loose them?? if not please let me know how can i get those data in this new forum.

Thank You.

This is the wrong board to deal with ITRC migration problems.  Please repost in:

FYI: It appears your example forum isn't exactly like the page here:

http://community.hpe.com/t5/Products/ct-p/sws-ProductFamilies

And is missing the stuff after the various sub-categories.

Several typos here:

>including Hewlett Packard P Enterprise (HPE) solutions, HP Enterprise Software Products and IT Trends.

>HPE partners, and HP Enterprise Software experts in organizations'

>update your profile (

"(" at end of line and not adjacent to first word.

Typo: we have pour support forums

>Categories {you

"{" vs "("

You have a "click here to access sub-categories".  Actually you can't click on "Products" but on the links below it.

>In the “My Community Area” you can

That's: In the “My Community" area you can

>To do this click on “To do this click on

Repeated

Typo: If you cicik on one of

>you to „Products”

Change ",," to (").

Typo: HPE personal

On your "Give a kudo if the post" example, you have your red outline around the whole thing.  You need to only get the left half, since there are two buttons there.

>is also an (RSS feed icon ( in red)

Extra "(", first.  Extra space after second.  Might want to color "in red" with red.  :-)

FYI: Your example for board options is to a board with an obsolete product: HPE Service Desk.

Thanks for the feedback Dennis and catching the typos. I will fix it and attach an updated version this week.
