HP dvd740i 16X Lightscribe Drive (MAJOR PROBLEM)
I just got it and it is saying it will take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours just to read copy a DVD. I dont know if its my computer or what. I also can't get it to burn an image on any lightscribe brand discs at all. If anyone can help or has the same problem i would greatly appreciate the help.

Re: HP dvd740i 16X Lightscribe Drive (MAJOR PROBLEM)
I am not that familiar with lightscribe but I know the brand of DVD's makes all the difference in the world as far as quality of the scribe itself.
As far as the other problem, I would remove then reload the drivers and software.
What speed of computer do you have?
I know mine takes as long to copy a full length DVD (onto the hard drive then reburn it) as it does to watch it.
