hp cd-writer 8200 won't id itself on nero
Alright, I have a hp cd-writer 8200 series and it is on a usb cord. It says that it is both e and f. I have nero cd burning drive and it will not auto find my external burner. I have checked drivers, and things seem fine. when I go to look at my system hardware, where the cd-roms are it says that it is 8200e, where the usb cord is, it says 8200f. Perhaps that could be a problem? I need to figure out how to get the nero to find the burner because it doesn't read anything other than it is there. It will not say that it is hewlett packard or a burner
