Is there any documentation which outlines the process for inserting/removing jukebox platter's.

Is there any software which can notify a user when there is an outstanding platter mount?

Hello Roger,
The eject/insert process is dictated by the software application being used in most cases however the information is also in the users guide and is simply a matter of pressing the "load" or "eject" button on the front panel. The mail slot will rotate out, insert the media into the slot use the "next" key to choose where the media should be loaded to and hit "enter".

I recommend checking out the users guide. As far how to notify a user of an outstanding mount I'm not sure what you're looking for. It sounds to me as if you may be using the built in HPUX driver?
