** DAAccess failed with error [SCSI command execution failed -- Read channel calibration error Code 40].
2006-01-24 07:04:56 263: JB_ReadFile: Unable to retrieve file [SNS068B]. ODAAccess failed with error code (18).**
first we thought of the systemboard and we replaced it.that went well for 2,3 days and then de problems started all over again.

Re: Hp surestore 660ex (c1105J) error 40 and 80
Hi Martijn,
i think you have a problem either with your drive or perhaps a cartridge which should be loaded from a slot of the jukebox.
--8<------ Service Manual -----
Error 40: Get Cartridge out
Failed extracting a cartridge from a slot.
1. Look at the micro-move error of the failure in the error log (under INFO * and Hardware Error in the control panel display).
2. Check that the picker assembly looks normal and is in the proper orientation.
3. Check that the picker is in the proper height with respect to the storage slot and that the vertical encoder strip is not damaged.
--8<------ Service Manual -----
this is what the Service Manual tells you to do on Error 40.
I hope this could help you.
Kind regards
Otmar
