Question - Upgrading - DVD 200i
Hi!
I'm wondering whether you have to have the old version of RecordNow from Veritas installed before you upgrade your 200i making it compatible with 8X +R DVDs? Or does the later versions from Sonic Solution work just as well?
Reason I ask is that I use another software to backup my files and would like to keep it that way, but since the upgrade needs a version of RecordNow to work, I guess I have to get it.
I found a 14 day trial of the Sonic product and figured I use that to upgrade but I don't like to fill up my hard drive with stuff I never use, so I figured I ask first before going further.
I've bought my computer from work, so I don't have anything more than a restore CD and I'm not thinking about giving that a try I can tell you. :-)
Any advice?
