UDO Compatibility
I'm new in Jukebox technology.
We're buying a 700ux 2drive jukebox with UDO drives. I'm concerned about compatibility with my previous MO disks. Can I read a MO disk in a UDO drive?
Thanks for your reponses.

Re: UDO Compatibility
You can habe both technology within same Jukebox, but the drives will be different as this is red laser (MO) vs blue laser technology (UDO).

Re: UDO Compatibility
If I have a MO disk, Can I put it in a UDO drive and it can be read?
Thanks.

Re: UDO Compatibility
if you read the post and check the link you have the answer :
according to documentation, a UDO drice cannot read/write a MO drive
"Since UDO is based on blue laser technology and MO was based on red laser, inherently the two are not compatible"

Re: UDO Compatibility
I think you should assign points and there should be a rabbit here as the solution has been found.
