in addition to my prob...

if i try to format my cdr with DirectCd from Roxio, will it delete the files in the open session on the disc, or maybe erase all the files on the disc?? or will it actually format the disc to be able to be read properly?? (i'm really just not to sure what format means exactly) thanks again.
