How do I register a stack member in PCM?
I have no problems manually discovering our 2910 Procurve commander switches, however I can't work out how to discover our 2910 member switches in PCM3.10.201 through the commander's IP address. The members don't have IP addresses. I've been specifying in the PCM discovery wizard SNMPv1/2 credentials (like it says in the Stack Mgmt guide):
<SNMP community name>@sw2
<SNMP community name>@sw3 etc .
where the community name is a valid manager-level name (and not "public"), indeed it works when I just specify <SNMP community name> to discover the commander.
It just returns "read community name failed". Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
thanks for your time.

Re: How do I register a stack member in PCM?
Use the snmpget command to set the community name on the member switch.
Check chepter 6-43 for more details
