Re: patch

What HP-UX version are you using?
Are you asking about individual patches or patch bundles?
Do you have a support contract?

Re: patch

There is no one single patch for HP-UX. Different things are patched as they come up.

There are twice yearly patch bundles released for all currently supported versions of HP-UX. Those are probably your best bet, unless you run into some specific problem.

HP-UX 11.31 patch bundles are released in March and September. The latest is the March 2011 bundle.

HP-UX 11.23 patch bundles are release in June and December. The latest is the December 2010 bundle.

HP-UX 11.11 no longer has patch bundles release regularly. The latest, and last, is the December 2009 bundle.

If you have access, see this page:

Service Agreement ID or System Handle.

A HP Care Pack identifier (including Supportpack and CarePaq).

A product number and serial number of a product under warranty.

If you don't have access (a support contract), you can't get the patches.

Re: patch

Hi there, I just found this topic and I have a doubt about it:

- Is there any place where I can see (or better, download) a list of latest patches without having access to the patches? I mean, I work with security issues and I wanna tell my HP-UX`s owners customers when they supposed to patch their systems but I don`t wanna to download the patches (because it useless to myself). Maybe somewhere outside the HP`s pages will help me. Does anyone know. Anyone have any clue?

Attached it one of the documents I used to get in the past. The link in the document does not get me this information anymore.

Thanks in advance for all prompt reply.

Without a support contract, I don't think you can get this info.

I don't think you can get security_catalog2.txt either. What was moved into SWA.
