Data Protector in a PolyServe environment

Are there any guides/guidelines for using Data Protector to back up SQL Server databases/datafiles, as well as important PolyServe files?

Dont know about that but you will need to add the virtual host to data protector and put the SQL agent on both nodes depending on what node is actually running the database.

You can get away with using a "landing zone" and dumping the database to a directory on the clusterfile system. Then put the backup agent on 1 node in the cluster and run the backup on that node after the database gets dumped.
