SQL 2008 R2 support
This is critically important to both our enterprise operations and disaster recovery planning, and we have to get a firm yes/no answer from HP and a target date so we can plan now for CY 2011 and 2012.

Re: SQL 2008 R2 support
"After talking to Bob Dutton on our L2 team who is in contact with Polyserve engineering. There are no plans to support SQL 2008 R2 on Polyserve.
There is no code being written to include it."
"...there has been no updates as to where Polyserve is going. At one point we heard there was another product on the horizon but no updates on that either. They have been telling us there was going to be an official announcement as to where the product is going but it has not come out yet. We are still waiting ourselves for more official announcements"

Re: SQL 2008 R2 support
Long story short, there was not very much concrete information in the conference call. I left with t5he impression they were burying the product, but did not want to say it in those words... for fear of strong response from customers (like us) heavily invested in the product. I got the feeling they were just telling us what we hoped to hear with the "maybe it will live on" talk.
Regardless what HP says at this point... it's fairly obvious this is a dead product. No way a large compnay can plan for the future with any confidence in their purchase given the incompetent handling of the situation by HP.
We are currently exploring other options.. including Sanbolic Melio and others.
