Alot of Drop-TX without any real reason
Hello
I have more than 200 procurve 2510 switches and 2 x 8212 core switches in my LAN.
On the few weeks, im getting a lot of Drop-TX and i can see them on the ports in my core switches (8212).
I have 10Gb and 1Gb interfaces and i can see that problem on all of them, even if im connecting new switch to my backbone, after 1 minute, i start to see DROP-TX and there is nothing connected to that switch! how it make sense?
i tried to replace cables, i tried to change the cables to fiber cables, i tried to change negotiation speed. i have spanning tree on all of my switches, i can't see Signs to broadcast storm or any other loop. what can it be?
here is an interface for example:
Backbone# SH INTerfaces H24

The only change that i made before few weeks was to add another backbone and create VRRP between them.
Thank you very much.

Re: Alot of Drop-TX without any real reason
I am having what seems like the same issue.
VRRP 2 5406 togetther.
had 4 Links in trunk. upgraded to 8links no change
change cables on some of the problem ports and no change
Have a ticket open with HP but not moving fast at all.
It is causing network outages for me.
HP enabled Jumbo - no change
HP enabled Flow - no change
