Hello,
I seem to have encountered an odd situation in our test lab.
I've managed to get our Ubiquiti Nanobeam 5AC antenna, up and running, from an unmanaged switch (HP 2524) and through its bundled PoE injector. Executing ping command indicates that the antenna is in our LAN.
However, when connected to a managed switch (HP 2920), the antenna is not seen on the network, though the configuration cites that it is truncated to trk1 and the port is tagged to the appropriate VLAN. LED on the antenna also indicates the antenna is already up.
Any idea why is this so?
Regards,
Bar

Re: HP 2920: Ubiquiti and PoE concerns
Double check if the appropriate VLAN should be UNtagged, just like on the unmanaged switch.

Re: HP 2920: Ubiquiti and PoE concerns
Done that.
J9729A_OLC(config)# sh vlan 4 Status and Counters - VLAN Information - VLAN 4 VLAN ID : 4 Name : nanobeamTest Status : Port-based Voice : No Jumbo : No Port Information Mode Unknown VLAN Status ---------------- -------- ------------ ---------- 17 Untagged Learn Down 45 Untagged Learn Down Trk1 Tagged Learn Up
Antenna is connected to port 17 through its PoE injector but still status is "down". However, testing it out in the field, i.e., outside our test lab, yields good connectivity.
