HP 3800-24G-2XG Switch to NetApp 2520 with 10GbE
Hello to all,
i'm planning to connect two stacked HP 3800-24G-2XG switches to an NetApp FAS 2520 via iSCSI.
In the datasheet, the HP Switch has two 10 GbE Uplink Ports.
The NetApp 2520 model also comes with 4 10 GbE Ports on Board.
Since we did this before always with cisco 3750x switches, is it possible to trunk the two 10 GbE ports of the switch
to the NetApp controller ? I'm a little confused if it's going to work, because i read in the datasheet of the switch, that the 10 GbE Ports are "only" uplink ports.
Thanks for help !
Marc

Re: HP 3800-24G-2XG Switch to NetApp 2520 with 10GbE
I'm fairly certain that wording does not reflect any technical limitation, only a design asssumption: the assumption is that the 3800 is an Access or Distribution switch, and that its 10Gb ports will be used to connect it to the Core.
