How can I modify procurve configuration through SNMP
Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to remove a command from a ProCurve Switch using SNMP.
Like an idiot I have added this command : ip authorized-managers access method snmp.
And I can't connect to my switch with telnet or ssh. And obviously this switch is located 400km from my location.
I have configured the SNMP on the switch and it's working well on Cacti, but I can just get information.
So I have two options : traveling or configure it through SNMP.
Can you help me please ?
Thank you.
P.S. This thread has been moved from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to ProCurve / ProVision-Based. - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: How can I modify procurve configuration through SNMP
Do you have the SNMP R/W string that is configured on the switch?
If so, you can use these for free:

Re: How can I modify procurve configuration through SNMP
I have tested the tool, but the problem is that it's only working with Cisco switch/router. It's not working with ProCurve Switch :(
Is there an other solution to download/upload configuration through SNMP pls ? I can't find something that I can understand on Google.

Re: How can I modify procurve configuration through SNMP
Cisco only?
Sorry, I didn't know that...Are you sure? I think maybe the "Config Viewer" might be looking for Cisco-formatted files, but I don't see why the other two would care...?

Re: How can I modify procurve configuration through SNMP
When I'm trying to download or upload a configuration, I get an error : 192.168.0.254 is not a Cisco device.
It's too bad, this soft was perfect.
