Trunking
Hi,
I configure trunks on both of my HP switch one being a 5412zl K.15.02.0005 / E3500 K15.06.0017. When I test the failover by disabling a port on one of the Trunk it knocks out the port on they other switch also so I am left with one port on each side.
I attach a file of my config
Is this normal behavior?
Thank yoush

Re: Trunking
Should I not have 2 ports up on switch 1 up and one only on switch 2 where it was disable that would make more sense to me?

Re: Trunking
If you disable a port then the port at the other end of that link will also go down, the trunk will then show that only one port on each switch is up and the other ports, and link is down.
Don't forget to mark a post resolved if your question was answered.
