CRITICAL POWER FAILURE on ML350 G4p

Hi All,
I have a ML350 G4p server which had a power supply problem.
The server LED number 5 (CRITICAL POWER FAILURE) was on and server wont boot.
I replaced the PSU but still having the same problem.

Does anyone has an idea about this problem ?

Thks in advance !

Re: CRITICAL POWER FAILURE on ML350 G4p

How many power supplies do you have installed?
Might be that the slot is broken, have you tried to install the PSU in the other bay?
Have you tried to replace the cable as well?

Re: CRITICAL POWER FAILURE on ML350 G4p

I have tested with a new PSU and tried it in both slots but with the same problem.
I also replaced the cabe (if there was a problem in the cable i think that there will be no power in the machine at all but i have the power and when i press the power button the server don't go on and the LED number 5 in the front pannel turn into red but power button turns into green)

Might be that the power backplane is broken or maybe the power module on the CPU..

Have you tried to keep it down for a longer time? Maybe try to get power from another source? Like from the wall/ups.

Re: CRITICAL POWER FAILURE on ML350 G4p

i have tried clear nvram, and also tried from another outlet (as initially was trying from UPS).
i also left it without power for two days with no success.
