Can a P410i 256mb cache manage three RAID 1 arrays in a ML350 G6?

Hello, I have a HP ProLiant ML350 G6 Special Server - Xeon E5620 2.4 GHz ( http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/HP-ProLiant-ML350-G6-Special-Server-Xeon-E5620-2.4-GHz-Monitor-none/2037897.aspx#TS ).

This has a P410i RAID with 256mb cache. Attached are current specs. There are currently two RAID 1 arrays managed on the P410i and I would like to add a third RAID 1 using two 2TB SAS drives ( http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/10238521/mfg_partno/507616-B21 )

I beleive the P410i w/ 256mb can manage three RAID 1 arrays and I was wondering if anyone can confirm this?

If this RAID can handle three RAID 1 arrays, should I upgrade the cache to 512mb and is this the correct part: http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/3966556 ?

thanks for any feedback

Yes, you are limited to 2 Logical Volumes when you have No/Zero Cache memory.
As long as you have some Cache (you have 256MB), then you can create more than 2 up to the controller maximum which is fairly high.

If you upgrade the Cache Module, don't bother with BBWC.
Get the FBWC instead as the Batteries in the BBWC *WILL* eventually die on you but the FBWC is designed differently and the Super Capacitor should last a lot longer than the Batteries.
