Can't see hard drives
I'm setting up a new DL360. I have set up the hardware and am successfully accessing the (headless) system through a RILOE 2 card.
I can't configure the drive array because Smart Start Array Configure says there are no drives connected. The system contains two hot-pluggable 18.2 GB drives in bays 1&2. When the system is powered up, there are no lights on the drives.
Any suggestions ?
TIA,
Patrick

Re: Can't see hard drives
make sure drives seated well
make sure embeded array controller seated well on system board
try running array diagnostics utility (ADU) from smartstart cd
may have bad Intergraded Array Controller, or Scsi backplane board

Re: Can't see hard drives
I took out the scsi backplane card and reseated it. Turns out that fixed it.
Thanks for your help,
Patrick
