Can this error cause a SQL Server proc utilization to peg at 95-100%

Evening,

I am seeing an error when I run the HP Array Diagnostic Utility from the server exhibiting the 95-100% proc utilization

The error states:

===== Start of Option ROM POST Message Log ===== 1794-Slot 5 Drive Array - Array Accelerator Battery/Capacitor Charge Low      Array Accelerator Posted-Write Cache is temporarily disabled.      The following battery/capacitor(s) have failed and should be replaced:

If the cache is disabled, you'll get poor performance.  But I would assume the CPU would just be waiting, not busy.
