Checking HDD SMART Data DL360 G5
Hello all.
I have an HP DL360 G5 server running 4 HDD in RAID 0. how would I go about checking the SMART data from these drives by the command line? the server is running CentOS 6.4 64Bit. The drives are getting a bit old and it is in a quasi enterprise environment which is why I would like to check the status of the drives.
Seeing as though its being colcated right now, is there any way to tell if a drive fails on it or is on its last legs?
Cheers,
Sapper

Re: Checking HDD SMART Data DL360 G5
hi,
You may run the ACU / ADU offline edition to check the status of the drive / logical drive
Insight diagnostic offline test is an another way to test the hard drives connected to smart array controllers.
hope this helps,
how to say thanks... click on star kudos!
Cheers!
Ali
