DL140 G2 NIC Drivers

I just obtained a used DL140 G2 server in good working condition.  I've installed Windows Server 2003 R2 on it.  Everything works fine except I cannot get NIC drivers to load.  I've downloaded every driver for the server from the HP website and none of them load.  I have used the driver's install program, and also tried to install from device manager.

The program "Unknown Device Identifier 7" identifies the NICs as Broadcom BCM5750A1 NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet PCIe.  The Broadcom site does not have the drivers because these are OEM specific to HP.

I've checked online and can't find any other help in finding the right drivers or getting the HP drivers to load.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Marty W.

Re: DL140 G2 NIC Drivers

Hey,

quickspecs says this server should have

Two integrated Dual Broadcom 10/100/1000 5721 NICs (Wake on LAN and PXE capable)

Which drivers there have you tried?

I looked through some of the release notes but couldn't find any reference to a 5721 - maybe it has more than one name.

I did find an 2003 x64 driver for 5721:
