DL360 G4 with RIS and RIPREP

Hi

Can someone tell me what changes I need to make to a standard RisServer config for Windows 2003 to get a DL360G4 to boot over the network.

I guess I need to add the DOS drivers for the DL360G4 NIC card, but want to know what drivers people recommend.

Is there anything else I need to watch out for?

Re: DL360 G4 with RIS and RIPREP

Just to clarify the situation I'm in.

I have a risserver that I'm using to try to remote install Windows 2003.

I start DL360 G4 server and Press F12 to get it to PXE boot, it picks up an IP address fine. I then press F12 again and it takes me into the OS chooser screens.

I was getting errors about the network card not being supported, I therefore followed the instructions in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246184/

And I've used the following Windows 2003 driver files
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/networking/us/download/22190.html

However I now get the following error message
---
File q57w2k.sys caused an unexpected error (21) at lne 3903 in d:\srv03rtm\base\boot\setup\setup.c.

Press any key to continue
---

At which point the installation fails.

Is this the right driver?
I recall having to perform extra steps for Windows XP SP2 installs, do I need to do anything else for this one?

BTW: I cleaned the RISServer so the only image files on the drive are for Windows 2003

The link with the fix for this issue appears to be broken. Can someone please point me in the right direction, as I'm having the exact same problem.

Thanks.

Re: DL360 G4 with RIS and RIPREP

Cause:
q57win32.inf references q57w2k.sys which is not included in the package.

Fix:
Make a copy of q57xp32.sys and rename to q57w2k.sys and put this file in the i386 folder of your RIS image.
