DL360g5 fan speed

Hello

i upgraded my dl360 from a dual core to a quad core, one chip. since doing so the fan block on that cpu is sitting about 3-5% higher. does this seem normal? also, i am running ESXi 5.1.0 and the fans dont seen to scale to temp. i have 2-3 MC servers as a time and i dont see how the chip is not getting hotter for the fans to turn up, the old dual core run at 30C idle and about 34% fan speed. this quad core idles at 30C but never moved from about 37% fan speed. ill include pictures.
