Driver issue on DL380G5 after Win server 2008 R2 upgrade
I just reimaged at Dl380G5 to Win server 2008 R2 and all went well but one little item that is a bit of a neusance. I cannot find the correct driver for an unknown device.
USB\VID_07F2&PID_0001&REV_0001&REV_0001
USB\VID_07F2&PID_0001&REV_0001
This is the only identification information I can find and Google comes up with not much and what it does find is for other Win OSs and HP search comes up nada.
If anyone knows what this is please help
Thanks

Re: Driver issue on DL380G5 after Win server 2008 R2 upgrade
Hi,
USB\VID_07F2&PID_0001
Looks like a USB Storage or USB Dongle attached to the server.
Check if there is any USB devices that is attached to the server.
DL380 G5 comes with a Intel 5000P Chipset, hence try to install the Chipset drivers, this may fix the issue.
Thank You!
I am a HP employee

Re: Driver issue on DL380G5 after Win server 2008 R2 upgrade
Good suggestion. I checked the Intel chipset drivers and they all look good so I will have to see if there any dongles inside left over from when I repurposed it.
