HP ML 150 G9 with ESXI6.0 disk performance problems
I have a brand new ML150 G9 with ESXI 6.0 HP image downloaded from VMWARE.
I have a H240 ctrl and 1GB SATA HP drive, I have tested it for days in many different configuration and different HD SAS and SATA and the disk trasnsfert rate is always VERY LOW.
It takes somthing like 15mins to move a 500mb file and the network is only 1-5% loaded.
Even coping a 500Mb file from disk to disk takes 15 minutes
HP support claim that it is NORMAL, is someone having better performance?
It is not usable for my point of view

Re: HP ML 150 G9 with ESXI6.0 disk performance problems
the funny thing is that performance is excellent when installing windows server on the same machine. hpe-support says the low performance is "normal" - they did not say that it is related to vmware!! must have something to do with the missing cache.
