HP Proliant DL380 G2
My server turns itself off. We have had HP out and have changed out everything on the server, system board, power suppies, cpu's, voltage regulators, fans, etc. Is there any other things that might cause this. It will stay up for a couple of days and then it just shuts itself off.

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G2
Hi Melody,
Is the server connected to a UPS?
If so, try connecting the power cables to raw mains instead. This should eliminate any issues with the UPS.
When the problem occurs, are there any entries in the Integrated Management Log (IML) on the server?
Regards,
Brian

Re: HP Proliant DL380 G2
Brian,
We have changed all the power supplies and removed the UPS's and HP even had us try different power sources. It would work for a few days up to a few weeks, but then it just dies again. I have requested that HP get a new IML to see if that would fix the problem, but I have not heard from them again. I can't get the server to stay up long enough to even log into anything.
Thanks
Melody
