HP Proliant ML110 G7 VT-x enabled in BIOS but not working on Hyper-V

Hi

I have a HP Proliant ML110 G7 with a Intel E3-1230 Processor.

I already enabled VT-x and VT-d in the BIOS but Windows kept showing that VT-x is not enabled.

The weird part is the Processor Identification kept showing E31230 instead of E3-1230

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: HP Proliant ML110 G7 VT-x enabled in BIOS but not working

I found the answer.

Apparently VT-x will show ONLY if Hyper-V is not enabled, so once Hyper-V is enabled VT-x will be flagged as "not available".

Meaning it is there and running but just doesn't show it.

I am leaving this answer here so people who are facing this "issue" can find this.
