HPLog taking up 100% CPU on Proliant Linux DL 380 servers
Hi,
we are having Proliant servers running Redhat Linux 5 varient,
the hplog service is randomly taking up 100% CPU and causes issues to the servers.
Everytime we have to manually kill the service, is there any resolution to that.
We have DL 380 G5 , G6, G7 servers and all are facing similar issue.

Re: HPLog taking up 100% CPU on Proliant Linux DL 380 servers
Hi,
There was a similar problem that I remember where a particular PSP version had this issue so we suggested to update the PSP and it was fixed.
So what is the PSP version on this server?
Thank You!
I am a HP employee.
I work for HPE.

Hi Suman,
I'm not good on HP stuff, can you suggest how to check the PSP version.
What I know is we have installed HPASM only for monitoring.
