HPSUM 7.1.0 errors
I have downloaded the new SPP 2014.09.
I'm runnning Windows Server 2012 on an HP DL380 Gen8
When I try to add a node local or remote. It does not work.
I start hpsum by right clicking and choposing "run as administrator".
If I run HPSUM from 2013 09 everything works fine.
The only way I have found to install the new patches and firmware is by running the old HPsum and point to the new repository.
HPSUM was a really good tool once, but now days it's a pain to use.
Or do I do something wrong?

Re: HPSUM 7.1.0 errors
Hi,
HP Smart Update Manager requires the user to be logged in using Administrator credentials.
A user account elevated to “Run as administrator” in most cases does not have sufficient rights because access to protected system files and the Windows registry is restricted.
In the below thread, check the last post.

Thank You!
I am a HP employee

Re: HPSUM 7.1.0 errors
I have logged in as domain administrator, do I need to login on the machine with an local administrator account?
And it works if I'm logged in as domain admin with older versions of HPSUM.
