Re: ML350 G5 - 1611 Fan3 Failure
No LEDs
FANs reseated
NVRAM cleared
I remember the same problem with ML350 G3 or G4 series was about incorrect formfactor settings preinstalled on factory.
Change it from Rack to Tower corrected problem.
But i cannot find this switch in G5.

Re: ML350 G5 - 1611 Fan3 Failure
ok what I found was
they are like 2 BIG fans but in fact if you remove the cover and remove one of them you will find there are 2 connectors for each BIG fan (check my pictures attached ml350 g5 SB.JPG)
so you can swap cables and find out if the connector for fan is faulty or it is the connector in system Board
bye

Re: ML350 G5 - 1611 Fan3 Failure
white connector in System Board
Left side is connector 4 and the one behind it is connector
so if swapping cables error follows fan it means Fan assembly is faulty if error stays in the same connector(3) system board is faulty connector 3 is bad
