ML350-G5 i200 Array Config Question.
What do I need to add to to the above server to have both a two drive mirror AND a four drive RAID5 configuration (3+1 hot spare if possible but not required)? Keeping it a inexpensive as possible.

Re: ML350-G5 i200 Array Config Question.
If you bought the ML350G5 Entry model, the i200 controller can only do Raid0,1 with the 64MB cache. To do RAID 5 and RAID 1 you need to replace the 64MB cache module with the 128MB cache which will add the RAID 5 capability the part number is 351580-B21 andis $149 list price.
If you bought the MS350 Base edition, it already has the 128MB cache and you shoudl be able to configure the arrays in the RBSU during POST.

Re: ML350-G5 i200 Array Config Question.
If you already have an ML350 G5 with the i200 controller and a Raid 0 configuration can you upgrade to Raid 5 by adding a 4th drive without distroying the existing array?
