No ILO console screen on DL380p Gen8 with installed Quadro K4000

Hi All,

Does anyone knows how to get image on ILO console (with advanced license) when Quadro K4000 card is installed?

Currently I can only get image on DVI port on Quadro K4000, VGA out on server board is also without image.

I belive that this is standard behaviour when additional graphics adapter is inserted but ILO should allways be accessible.

On ILO console I can only see first part of BIOS initialization a,d after that nothing (no HP logo, SmartArray...) you know what i mean.

iLO is tied to the embedded video card. Once you install a stand up video board, you will no longer get any video over iLO

Thats correct, same issue here everytime. No help for you, but the only thing that helped us was a IP KVM Switch.

Good hint! Found BIOS option on a DL380 g8 to set onboard video as primary. Will try this weekend also...
