ProLiant and UEFI Boot
Hi There,
I am on the search for some answers about UEFI Boot on ProLiant Server.
First of all there is the question if the ProLiants are able to perform UEFI Boot in general?
The www dont provide such kind of Informations... or i am not able to find them.
If anybody has information about HP Proliant Server and UEFI i would be very happy to get them.
Thanks a lot.

Re: ProLiant and UEFI Boot
Hi,
As per the updates available, HP Proliant Servers is provided by continuing to use BIOS- based Firmware. Going forward will continue to evaluate and remain involved in the UEFI efforts.
Taken from below link:
http://www.manualowl.com/m/Hewlett-Packard/ProLiant-SL170s/Manual/118561?page=2
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_Extensible_Firmware_Interface
I hope the info will help you.
However, UEFI is used on HP Integrity servers, HP Elitebook and Comaq notebooks.
Regards,
Renji
