Proliant ML370 Won't Install Windows Server 2003

I have a used proliant ML370 with a compaq smart array 4200 installed and i keep running into problems, i had to replace the cd rom drive, download a smart start cd, and make a system f10 partition.i have ran diagnostics on the memory, processor and scsi controller. it boots from the windows server 2003 cd and loads setup until it says starting windows..., that is b4 u pick partition to install on and start copying at all, then it hangs for what i assume is an eternity, but i suppose i'm not sure if it is more than two hours. If have any ideas to getting this server working pls tell me!
