Is there a list, somewhere, showing the chronology of the Proliant line? Like what came before and after the 1600 and so on?

Not really. Some of us who were long enough in the business remember, but the only way to make a complete list is to go into the retired product listing on the website and look up the dating of each line.

I can tell you that the 1000/2000/4000 was first, 1500 came after that, 1600/3000 followed etc.
