SC08e HBA on HP DL380G5

Is it possible to connect server DL380G5 to HP MSA P2000 G3 SAS using SC08e HBA? In quick spec for HBA there is no DL380G5 on supported server list, but server has PCI-E slots. It is acceptable in that configuration that we have decreased speed of 3Gb.

This configuration is not tested nor supported by HP, but probably will work. You can try to use SC08Ge HBA also.

Thanks for help. We also think to use SC08Ge HBA, but question is almost the same. On Storage specification there is only one recomended HBA, gues which one? Yeah...SC08e.
So we are running in circle now....Any other opinion?
