SUSE SLES 12 boot failed on Proliant ML10 v2

Hello,

I try to install SLES 12 on the above server. It looks like the installation is successful. But when reboot the server, I can not go in the SUSE but get the following message:

 Booting from local disk....

Boot failed: press a key to retry.

 Any idea?

 Thanks,

By default the B120i Dynamic Raid controller is enabled. You need to boot the SPP, or the offline version of HPSSA and configure an array. You will also need to download the 'hpvsa' driver disk image for SLES 12.  a second options is to disable the B120i RAID function and put the controller in SATA AHCI mode which does not require the HPE 'hpvsa' array driver.

Thanks for reply.

If I go the second option, then do I need to setup the functions by clicking the Function Key, and don't need to reinstall SLES12. Am I right?

As I am not familiar with Proliant ML10 v2, please give me more instruction.

OK. I managed to install SLES12 on this server with only one internal 4TB hard drive successfully. If I try to plugin with two internal hard drives and reinstall SLES12, then it doesn't work.

Any idea? What configuration I need to setup?
