Server hangs on reboot with USB drive attached

Server hangs on reboot with USB drive attached

I have a Proliant ML110 G4 with a Seagate Freeagent USB drive attached. The bios has been set to boot from hard drives before USB devices. The server continues to find the Seagate USB drive before the the SATA Raid drives in the boot order. The server errors reporting no OS found and then attempts a PXE boot. What do I need to do to correct this without having to unplug the USB drive everytime I reboot the server?
